1. Registration & Account Setup

An account is required to securely manage your video history, custom settings, and API credentials.

Log In / Register

Click "Log In" in the top right corner. You can register via local Username & Password or use "Continue with Google" for 1-click OAuth authentication.

Configure API Keys & Preferred AI Engine

Go to your User Profile menu in the header and open Settings. Add your personal AI API keys:

  • Gemini API Key: Get from Google AI Studio. Primary engine for video transcription, gender detection, and speech translation.
  • OpenRouter API Key: Get from OpenRouter.ai. Access hundreds of AI models (Llama 3, Claude 3.5, GPT-4o) for high-accuracy text translation & fallback.
  • Groq API Key (Optional): Get from Groq Console. Used for ultra-fast Llama/Whisper transcription and text processing.

Default AI Engine Selection: In Settings, you can choose Gemini, OpenRouter, or Groq as your default primary AI engine for translations.

2. Free vs. Pro Plans & Daily Limits

Video AI offers both Free and Pro tier accounts tailored to your translation needs:

Note: Videos translated while subscribed to Pro do not count against your Free daily quota if you switch back to Free.

3. How to Translate a Video

Follow these quick steps to translate any video with automated AI voiceover and synchronized subtitles:

Select Video Input

Drag and drop a local .mp4 or .webm file, or paste a YouTube / online video URL.

Choose Target Language & Voice Settings

Select your desired language (e.g., Khmer, English, Spanish, Japanese). Optionally customize Voice Gender (Male/Female), Pitch, and Speed rate.

1-Click Auto Generation

Click "1-Click Auto Generate". The live terminal displays progress in real-time. Once completed, your video will be saved to your History panel for instant preview or download.

4. Advanced AI Audio & Video Features

Surgically mutes original spoken voice segments while preserving background music, ambient sound, and audio effects seamlessly.

✂️ Video Splitting

Split long videos into 2, 3, or 4-minute sub-clips. Free users can split up to 4-minute chunks; Pro users enjoy custom durations.

🎙️ VoxCPM2 Voice Cloning

Clones original speaker voice characteristics into target language audio using native PyTorch AI models in the Windows App.

🔄 Multi-Engine AI Fallback

If Gemini API experiences rate-limiting, the system automatically falls back to OpenRouter, Groq, or Puppeteer Google Translate to ensure zero downtime.

5. Windows Desktop App (Pro Exclusive)

Our native Windows desktop application unlocks full hardware acceleration and removes browser upload limits.

How to Download

Active Pro subscribers can click "Windows App PRO" in the top navigation bar or visit /download-app to get the .exe installer.

Windows 10 / Windows 11 (64-bit). An NVIDIA GPU is recommended for ultra-fast local PyTorch voice cloning.

Why Use Desktop App?

Bypasses web host 50MB file restrictions to support massive 5GB 4K video files, provides unlimited video processing lengths, and offline local AI capabilities.

6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Why did my upload fail on the web version?
Web browser uploads are capped at 50MB per video to maintain server performance. If your video is larger than 50MB, please upgrade to Pro and download our Windows App to process files up to 5GB!
Q: What happens if my Gemini API key hits rate limits?
Our system features an automatic multi-tiered fallback architecture. If Gemini is rate-limited, processing seamlessly switches to OpenRouter, Groq, or Google Translate so your generation completes without interruption.
Q: How does the Free plan daily limit reset?
Free accounts get 2 video translations every 24-hour daily cycle (reset at 00:00 UTC). Any videos translated while you were a Pro subscriber do not deduct from your Free daily limit.
